REFUND POLICY

At Ray’s Seafood & Chowder Shack, we work hard to provide great food and excellent service. Because we are a small, family-owned business, all refund and cancellation requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.

General Policy

All sales—whether made in person, by phone, or online—are considered final unless otherwise approved by management.

Refunds, credits, or replacements are not guaranteed and are issued solely at the discretion of the location manager.

Eligability for Refunds or Credits

A request may be considered if:

  • There is a significant issue with an order

  • An order was not prepared as requested

  • An order was not received
     

However, the location manager has full and final authority to determine:

  • Whether a refund, credit, or replacement is appropriate

  • The amount of any refund or credit

  • Whether a request meets our criteria

No employee other than the manager on duty may approve a refund.

Cancelation

A. Dine-In & Takeout

  • Cancellations for dine-in or takeout orders may be accepted only with manager approval.

B. Online Orders

  • If your online order needs to be canceled, please contact the restaurant immediately.

  • Whether the order can be canceled and refunded is entirely up to the location manager.

Catering & Larger Orders

For catering or large orders:

  • Deposits may be non-refundable

  • Cancellation deadlines may apply

  • Any exceptions will be determined solely by the location manager

How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To request a review, please contact:

Please include:

  • Your name

  • Order date and time

  • Items ordered

  • Reason for the request

Your request will be reviewed by the manager on duty, whose decision is final.

Final Authority

By placing an order with Ray’s Seafood & Chowder Shack, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The location manager has complete discretion over all refunds and cancellations

  • All decisions made by the location manager are final and binding
